<p>An NCO in the reserves was seriously wounded and another soldier sustained light injuries earlier Friday, after shrapnel from an explosive drone struck near forces operating in southern Lebanon.</p><p>The soldiers were evacuated for medical treatment at a hospital, and their families have been notified, the Israel Defense Forces reported.</p>

Projectile fell on school in Deir al-Asad, no injuries reported

IDF identified that the Hezbollah terrorist organization launched rockets from a school compound. Following international law, the IDF struck the school to remove the threat.

<p>Ilan Fiorentino z"l, who served as the civilian security coordinator (Ravshatz) of Kibbutz Nahal Oz during the October 7, 2023 massacre, was laid to rest on Friday in his kibbutz.</p><p>Fiorentino was married to Sharon, and the couple had three daughters: Noam, Libi, and Doron.
